I’m what they call a hybrid creative – part art director, part copywriter, all ideas – with a habit of collecting new ways to make my job spec wider. Like design, illustration, and podcast chatting.
I’ve worked across branding, campaigns and communications of all sorts, powering it all with relentless curiosity, deep thinking and genuine joy. And, admittedly, a love of lists of three.

Why Plate Face?
I've always found (and drawn) faces everywhere. And ideas, too. So plate face was born to find more ideas in more places, beyond the four walls of agency life.

In a nutshell…
I've always loved stories, ideas, pictures and words. After putting the Venn-diagram of my interests on paper, I found advertising. Then, I studied it at the School of Communication Arts (2.0) in a Brixton church. Cue neat & tidy career.

But a couple of years into big agency life, I realised I wanted to use my creativity to make the world a little better on every brief. So I joined social impact comms agency Shape History, where the connecting thread was good causes, not ads.
Over the next six-odd years, I worked across branding, campaigns and wider marketing creative for charities, NGOs and purpose-led brands. Somewhere along the way, I grew into the role of Associate Creative Director – leading projects, mentoring teams and shaping the creative output of the agency as a whole.
And then, another shift. I realised that for me, having an impact isn’t confined to sector. Sometimes, it's just helping someone bring something they care about to life. So I stepped out on my own, starting Plate Face as a way to bring big-agency thinking, impact framing and a bit of joy to projects of all shapes and sizes.
